PHPCamp Pune 2008…. A day to remember…
| PHPCamp Pune 2008… Venue: Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd.One of the most awaited events for me..it was scheduled on 20th September 2008.The first of its kind in India, registering above 1200 campers. |

The talks started at 10:15 am with Amit greeting the campers.The introduction taken by Tarun was also cool , campers have been told to introduce their selves in ONLY 3 WORDS.I found that most of the professionals also cant introduce their selves in 3 WORDS. |
We attended Sessions continuously one after another.Those included “open social & database”,“php tips”by Shantanu Oak,“performance tuning” By Jignesh Thummar, “Google Open Social with PHP Shindig and OpenSocial Gadget” by Anand Sharma.
The sessions were fabulous and we got many valuable things during each and every session.
| The lunch was awesome especially the “KHEER”. Tarun tried to interact with people during the lunch but many preferred lunch over him… Me and my friend Manjiri were sharing the plate so our plate almost filled to the max, it could accommodate. Tarun came to us and asked about food,We both were so confused what to say but we managed that interaction smoothly. |  |
After lunch too wonderful sessions had been arranged but we could attend only some of them which included “OpenSocial - Apps for Orkut, MySpace etc” by Pravin Nirmal.

During BOF,we met a couple of guys from the industry and got to know how things work there in other companies. We met a Dru pal(CMS) person Mr Ashwin Date,he helped us in our queries regarding Dru pal.It was a nice learning experience from the people and got to know about new things. The talks ended and we started to wind up. |
Everyone who attended the event appreciated the event. The day ended. The memory remained. Thats how life goes on. And thats how a day passed by…
Now waiting for ‘ Barcamp Pune 5 ‘ on 8th November….
